80th Anniversary of D-Day
June 6, 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of a day that changed the direction of WWII.
In 2015, I went to Europe for the first time. I spent several days in the Normandy area walking in the footsteps of my 90th Division cousin, James Privoznik, who was Killed In Action on 11 January 1945 near Bras, Belgium during the Battle of the Bulge. I visited the Normandy American Cemetery and sobbed all the way through the visitor’s center and the grounds up to the point I walked onto the cemetery where our service members, men and women, rest in sacred ground. Then I found peace and heard whispers and shouts from those buried there, that I had finally arrived to visit.
I talk to the dead you know.
My time in Normandy and the path of the 90th Division through Europe changed my life. Walking in the footsteps of those ancestors who fought, and some who died, can change a person. Change a family. Create closer relationships, bring closure and peace.
Are you ready to walk in your ancestor’s footsteps through Europe? Are you ready to learn their stories of war?
80th Anniversary Commemorations
In 2024 we honor and remember our WWII veterans and war dead during the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. If your museum, library, historical or genealogical society, company, homeschool group, or any other organization is seeking WWII programming, I have what you need.
I'm now booking through 2024, individual programs, half-or full-day seminars, and study groups to teach my 2-step process to research any veteran from WWII, even if the records burned. The strategies I developed also apply to WWI, Korea & Vietnam and will save researchers time, money, and frustration.
If you or anyone you know may be considering late 2023 or 2024 travel to walk the footsteps of their WWII ancestors, starting research earlier is better. Archives are mostly functioning at pre-2020 levels but that is not always a guarantee.
