The last few weeks I’ve been teaching a lot. I taught my Wise Female Ancestors class to a small group of women. Some of them didn’t seem receptive to the idea that we should be looking deeply into the lives of our female ancestors or asking questions. That’s ok. Others didn’t seem receptive to the idea that I, like many others, can communicate with those across the veil. That’s ok.
I recently taught my class, Why Was Grandma So Mean? for a small group of people. In this program I combine genealogical research with tools to help people identify family patterns and open new research paths. I also talk about how I communicate with my ancestors as I tell the stories that go with the class. One of my missions in this life is to plant seeds, shine my light and use my voice to help awaken the population and shift the consciousness on the planet. I am not afraid to share how I communicate with those across the veil. I know that I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s ok.
Not everyone believes you can or should communicate with anyone but living people, especially those who are religious. That’s fine because I let people believe whatever they believe and be where they are. No big deal.
It was interesting though to hear from a couple of people who attended that program that they will not attend any other programs they have to pay for (but they will attend the free ones) because they believe anyone who channels is actually speaking to demons. They told me they are Christians and this is their belief. That’s fine - they believe what they believe. I won’t stop being me because of their beliefs.
Interestingly in that same program there was another woman who was attending for the first time and had no idea who I was. After the program she came up to me all excited because she is like me - spiritual and communicates with her ancestors and guides. Many of us who are have these gifts feel alone and isolated from others like us. In part because people don’t share this so openly. In part because we may be afraid to let others see our light and know what we believe. This woman asked me if I’d like to have coffee and chat more about spirituality and associated topics. I said yes and we had a most delightful two-hour conversation.
In that one program I apparently turned off two people but lit a spark in another.
Lighting a spark in people is what we are here to do at this time of global consciousness shifting. We are not here to dim our light, hide who we are and what we believe. Most of us who are awake, aware, and doing our inner work came here for THIS time of global change. Our souls know our mission. Our ancestors know our mission and are here to help us.
So today as I write this and contemplate the comments made to me about who I am, I choose to keep speaking my truth in honor of all my female ancestors who had to hide who they really were because family, religion, culture, or society didn’t allow it. Because they were shamed or made to feel guilty or wrong for being who they were.
When we speak our truth, shine our light, and live our authentic soul mission, we invite others to step more into their truth and authenticity. THAT is a beautiful thing. I fully believe if when I teach, even one person, somehow the energy will ripple out into the consciousness of humanity and create a change. Today I invite you to speak your truth and be the change the world needs today without fear. YOU are needed right now so shine brightly and allow your ancestors to guide you.
