All true. I once revealed at a family reunion of people I did not really know, about a divorce in the family tree in the 1820s back in Europe. A group of women in their 70s (the greatest generation) soon gathered around and started to reveal their secrets held since WWII. They spoke of date rapes of crazed men back from the war and young married women giving up on their husbands they hadn't seen in a year. War is hell for even those on the home front.
